SMS / Text Messaging Program

Program Description: Uncanny Analytics offers an SMS messaging program to send you project updates, meeting reminders, audit scheduling notifications, resource alerts, and other communications related to our data analytics and business intelligence services. Message frequency varies based on your project activity and preferences.

How to Opt-Out: You may cancel SMS messages at any time. Text STOP to unsubscribe from any message we send. After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message. To re-subscribe, text START. For help, text HELP at any time.

Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Uncanny Analytics is not responsible for any charges applied by your mobile carrier. Please consult your carrier’s rate plan for details.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer: Carriers (including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other wireless providers) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery of SMS messages is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier and is outside the control of Uncanny Analytics.

Introduction

Welcome to Uncanny Analytics. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our services and our commitment to your privacy. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms in their entirety.

Uncanny Analytics is a business intelligence and data analytics consultancy based in Tampa, Florida, specializing in connecting field service, accounting, and inventory systems into operational dashboards for trade contractors, distributors, and operations-heavy businesses. We build on Power BI, Tableau, and Looker Studio, with underlying work anchored in SQL, PostgreSQL, and Python.

Age Restriction

Our services are intended solely for individuals who are 18 years of age or older. By using our services or providing your personal information to us, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use our services, submit any personal information, or opt in to our SMS messaging program. Uncanny Analytics reserves the right to terminate any service agreement upon discovering that a user is under the age of 18.

Services Offered

Uncanny Analytics provides the following business intelligence and data services, subject to availability and project scope:

Data Audit & Roadmap — A review of your existing systems, data quality, and reporting needs, resulting in a prioritized written roadmap delivered whether or not you engage us to build it.
Dashboard Development — Executive, operations, and sales dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio, designed around decisions your team makes each week.
Data Modeling & SQL — Clean data models, DAX measures, and SQL that ensure consistent numbers across all reports and teams.
Data Pipelines & Warehousing — Automated data extracts from field service, accounting, and ERP systems into a central warehouse, refreshed on a defined schedule.
BI Platform Migration — Auditing, rebuilding, testing, and training for businesses moving between BI platforms (e.g., Tableau to Power BI).
Managed Analytics — Ongoing support for dashboard refreshes, new report builds, and source system changes, as a standing resource for businesses without a full-time analyst.
Training & Documentation — Written documentation and training sessions delivered with every build, enabling client teams to operate and maintain reports independently.

All engagements are scoped in advance with defined deliverables. Specific scope, timelines, and payment terms are outlined in individual service agreements or statements of work provided at project commencement.

Section 4

Client Data & Confidentiality

In the course of delivering analytics services, Uncanny Analytics may access client systems, databases, financial records, and operational data. All such data is treated as strictly confidential and is used solely to perform the services outlined in the applicable service agreement. Uncanny Analytics will not disclose, sell, or share client business data with any third party without the client’s express written consent, except as required by law.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to share any data provided to Uncanny Analytics for the purposes of an engagement. Uncanny Analytics will not be held liable for the use of data provided by clients that violates any applicable law, third-party agreement, or licensing restriction.

Section 5

Scope, Deliverables & Changes

Each engagement is defined by a written scope of work agreed upon before work begins. Changes to scope, additional report requests, or modifications to previously approved deliverables may require a revised agreement or change order. Uncanny Analytics will communicate any impact to timeline or cost before proceeding with out-of-scope work.

Where a data audit has been completed, the resulting roadmap is the property of the client and may be used independently of any further engagement with Uncanny Analytics.

Privacy & Protection of Personal Information

Uncanny Analytics respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Our full Privacy Policy is available at uncannyanalytics.com/privacy-policy. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

Section 7

Collection of Personal Information

We collect personal information from you in various ways, including when you book a data audit, submit a contact form, engage our services, or communicate with us directly. Information collected may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, and details about your data systems and reporting needs.

Section 8

Use of Personal Information

The personal information we collect is used for the following purposes:

To schedule and deliver data audit, dashboard, and analytics services.
To communicate with you regarding your project, deliverables, and timelines.
To send SMS/text messages as described in our SMS Program section above (with your consent).
To send resources, case studies, and service updates in accordance with your preferences.
To maintain records necessary for our business operations and project history.

Section 9

Non-Disclosure of Personal Information

Uncanny Analytics guarantees that your personal information will never be sold, traded, or rented to any third parties. The information you provide is solely for the use of Uncanny Analytics and its related business activities.

Note on SMS Data: No mobile information (including phone numbers) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This data will not be used for any purpose other than service-related communications you have opted in to receive.

Section 10

Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, clients receive ownership of the dashboard deliverables and data model documentation created for their specific engagement. Uncanny Analytics retains ownership of its underlying methodologies, frameworks, reusable templates, and proprietary analytical approaches, which may be applied across multiple client engagements.

Deliverables are licensed for the client’s internal business use. They may not be resold, sublicensed, or distributed without prior written consent from Uncanny Analytics.

Section 11

No Lock-In

Every engagement includes written documentation and training sessions. Clients are not required to maintain an ongoing relationship with Uncanny Analytics to operate or modify their deliverables. If a client chooses to bring reporting in-house or engage another provider, Uncanny Analytics will cooperate with a reasonable transition at no additional charge, provided the original engagement has been paid in full.

Section 12

Information Security

We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to, or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your data and any client data accessed during an engagement. Our practices include internal reviews of data handling, storage, and processing, as well as access controls on systems where data is stored or processed.

Section 13

Consent

By using our services and/or opting in to our SMS messaging program, you expressly consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in these terms and conditions. SMS consent and phone numbers are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Section 14

Limitation of Liability

Uncanny Analytics provides data analytics and business intelligence services in good faith and to the best of its professional ability. Dashboard outputs and reports are only as accurate as the underlying data provided by or accessible from client systems. Uncanny Analytics is not liable for business decisions made on the basis of dashboard outputs, for data quality issues originating in client source systems, or for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages arising from the use or reliance on deliverables.

Uncanny Analytics’s liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that specific engagement.

Changes to These Terms

Uncanny Analytics reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. We will communicate any changes by posting the updated terms on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
