About Uncanny Analytics

We help trade contractors and distributors see what their numbers have been trying to tell them, with dashboards built for the people who run the business.

Why we started

I started this company because something bothered me for years: there just aren’t many companies out there that truly want to help small businesses succeed. The big firms chase enterprise contracts. Everyone else gets templates, jargon, and an invoice. And almost every time a growing business hits a wall, the roadblock is the same — they can’t see their own data clearly enough to act on it. The answers are sitting right there in their systems. Nobody ever helped them look.

That’s what I hope to change, one business at a time.

I want the contractor who’s losing margin on jobs he thought were profitable to finally see it — and fix it. I want the distributor drowning in spreadsheets to get her evenings back. I want small business owners to feel what the big companies take for granted: confident, in control, making decisions from truth instead of gut feel. Nobody should have to guess their way forward.

We kept meeting owners who had invested in good software and still ran the business from spreadsheets. The data was there. It just wasn’t connected, defined, or presented in a way anyone could use on a Tuesday morning.

Uncanny Analytics exists to close that gap for the companies big consulting firms aren’t built for.

Founder

I'm Alexis, founder of Uncanny Analytics.

I've spent 20+ years in data analytics — two decades inside the systems that run real businesses. I've seen what good data can do. And I've seen who gets left out of it.

If your business runs on data you can't quite see into yet, let me help you see what your data says.

How we work

You talk to the builder

The person scoping your project is the person building it.

Defined deliverables

You know what you're getting before work starts.

No lock-in

Documentation and training come with every build.

Plain language

If a dashboard needs a manual, we redesign it.

Why the name?

There’s a reason it’s called Uncanny. The word describes that strange, almost eerie feeling of recognizing something that was in front of you all along — and that’s exactly what happens when a business finally sees its own data clearly. The leak that was hiding in plain sight. The pattern in your dispatch data you walked past every single day. I find what others overlook — those quietly strange truths sitting in your systems — and I do that work for the businesses that need it most, in plain English, at a price that makes sense.

Start with a data audit

We’ll review your systems and current reports. You’ll leave with a clear plan for what to build first, whether we build it or not.
